The Centres of Excellence coordinate the respective R&D teams per product group in order to develop new attractive products and to create synergies between the product groups. The Centres of Excellence are charged with innovation, cooperation and idea generation. Besides they improve recipes and offer R&D support for our customers. They are specialist in exchanging on new trends, product ingredients, regulations, processes and technologies.
Furthermore Unifine Food & Bake Ingredients takes advantage of CFTC, Cosun Food Technology Centre. CFTC is the Cosun knowledge and expertise centre for product development, process technology, analysis and research. With its own Info Centre, it is not a traditional ‘corporate R&D centre' but a shared facility that works for all Cosun’s business groups. CFTC is also a link between the Cosun business groups and external knowledge sources such as Wageningen University and the associated Wageningen Centre for Food Sciences, TNO Food and international information vendors such as Leatherhead.
